Happy Tuesday

wow what a week-end!! Hope everyone had a great 4th ofJuly. Pretty low key around here. I did get to go to a new little antique store called Green Akers on Friday with Jacob and my sister. We had a nice lunch and shopped a little. They are just opening up really but I liked what I saw! They have the coolest farm house table on my wish list!!!!! I picked up an old coca cola crate, a very cool dish, and some old wooden abc blocks to put in one of my glass jars. I will surely be making a trip back to check out their goodies before to long. I also wanted to say sorry Vanesa about the bad link to the Bad Girls kits website. It seems I left out the most important part of the web address  KITS!!!!! I sure am sorry about that. I just got my new issue of making memories mag and was paging through as I watched the Michael Jackson service. teary eyed!!! I did put ion pause when I seen the article on Laura Vegas. Great room she has I wanna come over and play!!!! Well I did get to play around a little with some goodies. I won these papers and couldn't wait to use them

 I love that ribbon it is so summery I picked up at michaels for $1 oh I forgot to mention the first LO I won the paper(Marks Paper Co) from Patty Schafer there is a link to her blog on the left under" fav artist " you have to check out her itsy !! soooo cute. Yep that's what I've been do'n!I decided to dig out all my kits I have purchased from online kt clubs and putting them to use.This first one is from www.badgirlskits.com They have some really cool kits I just love and they have redone their entire site so sweet!!! take a looky

I LOVE this picture of me and sister taken back in the 70's can you tell which one is me?? I'll give you a hint  the cute one .next is a few projects I worked on for the www.mylittleshoebox.com design team call that I never had a chance to enter. Well I had a chance but decided after looking at all the other entries that they just weren't good enough.It is so hard to just put yourself out there. One day when I have time I'll muster up the courage and try out for one. Until then I'll just keep playing around. I also did the little tin in the previous post for a housewarming gift to put address labels in.In this LO I used some pictures of my house that were kinda off center so I just cut out the parts I wanted to use. I hated to trash them so why not put them to use. Isn't that the cutes paper!!! Well now I'm off to shop a little at www.houseofthree.com they have the coolest wall art I want to get for my studio. I can't tell you how many times I have done and redone the decor in there.I will post picture as soon as I can get it cleaned up and looking the way I want it. Well I guess that is about it for now waiting for Jacob to get home now that he drives I never see him what will I do next year when he leaves for college?? I'll post more projects on Thur. Working on the weekly  challenge for www.artfreckles.com  It is a summer theme LO and I have some goodies from another kit I got at bad girls.  stay cool

hot ! hot! hot!

well it has been super hot here the last couple of days! we had storms last week that flooded the basement yuk what a mess. I made a few things to share 2 cards using up my scraps. Next week I 'm gonna try to be better at posting! I have just been so far behind on everything needed a while to catch up.My lap top is acting funny and I can't connect to the internet for some reason?? It sucks having to share only one computer with all of us so guess who gets left out. O.K. enough here are my goodies

Yes I'm still here. Sorry for not posting for a while! Been busy with a few projects. rain rain go away

yuck!!!!! It has been nasty here the last week. I can't wait til all this rain is done. I am off Sunday and I'm hoping for sunny skies to go to the St Charles flee market. I have a list of goodies I'm looking for:) I have a few LO to share and a rock'n pair of new flip flops. They have to be my fav to date. I know it has been a while since my last post I promise to post agian this week. The first is a LO of Jacob in his new car I used all left over scraps from a kit I got last year. I have been trying to use up what I can before I buy more no room to put the stuff and I need to cut back anyway.The second LO is from a few leftover badgirls kits. You really get alot of stuff in those kits Wendy does a really good job putting them together.Finally those rockn flip flops I picked up they are sketchers and are soooooo comfy. I wore them last week when I bartended and we feet felt great. I will post my new necklace when I have some good daylight. I love love love it. just a tease it is called "rock and roll baby" by lucky brand. I'm hooked on the stuff. I ordered a braclet to match that will be here next week it is the bomb. o.k. enough teasing here are my goodies to share  hope you enjoy

The Birds are singing

so I thought I'd do a LO for spring. It is one of my fav times of year! I picked up this MM line from Micheals I just love all the colors the orange is so vibrant in real life. I also did a card using all Melissa Frances another one of my all time fav. Well Jacob has been doing good tuddel'n around in his car. Tonight he went to get his hair cut all by his self. I know he's 17 but he's my baby and I can't get use to him not counting on me for everything. Not much going on here lately. I hoping to get out my Easter decorations this week-end and do alittle spring cleaning(yuk) with working so much my house among other things has really been neglected. Well here are my little treasures to share with you today have to watch the end of Biggest Loser     until next time

I made these brownies for a birthday party on v-day. They turned out so yummy I made brownies in a mini muffin pan then dip them in white choc stuck them on a sucker stick then in the pots. I would suggest that if you plan to take them to another location wait til you get there to stick the brownies on the sticks. They do not travel well at all just ask my son poor thing had to hold them the whole time there and he wasn't very happy! 

I had a heart attack

getting back to normal??

Well now that the holidays are almost over I look forward to getting back to normal(whatever that may be). We had a great time with family and friends but I sure am glad it is over!!! Just a few things I forgot to share with you earlier. I made these little gifts for my co-workers. I used some left over Websters Pages and ribbon scraps.Well it's back to work in the morning so I better finish up my housework. I'll post some more goodies later.
